Thread: Quick Question about going catabolic w/ cardio

When you go on the treadmill after a workout and you have some fat on you, will your body actually go catabolic and eat away at your muscles immediately or will it use your fat as energy? Because I consistently hear that cardio is bad when you're bulking and ****, but what if I wanna keep off the little fat I do get from bulking? I've been neglecting cardio cause I was afraid of losing my muscle ...

It is recommended that you do cardio on your OFF days. Cardio on a bulk is not bad at all, but obviously you don't won't to overdo it. Once or twice a week of light cardio should be fine when bulking to help keep your metab. firing and BF% levels steady. If your clean bulking you shouldn't really worry about putting on too much fat while bulking anyway.
