I had a friend show me this, I just want to get everyone's input on this. Im new to the whole turbo setup. My MSP is the first turbo i've ever owned, so i really don't know much about them...but thanks to you guys, that is changing lol but anyway. Does anyone know if this kit is a piece or is it a decent one? Would it be worth buying or not? I just wanted to get yalls opinion about this. Thanks, ...

...way to many factors to put a mileage on that my friend. If treated right awhile if abused not so long...
A ballbearing turbo like the one on the MSP, can last the life of the vehicle if treated like a princess... They don't wear the same as conventional bearings and are not succeptible to all of the same oiling issues.
Unless you are shooting for a much larger horsepower gain, a turbo is not what you need to replace, unless yours is wrecked by something injested into it.

Please stay away from this ebay kit, especially if your not sure what your buying. Its only going to cause problems and aggravation later on. Just do some bolt ons and a good tune, and I am sure you will be happy with the power of your first turbocharged Mazda.
The gt25 is such a nice turbo, I do not know why everyone is so eager to get rid of it.

Exhuast will be my next step... I have over 2.5k worth of bolt on mods and still dont have a full exhaust. I know its sad but it was all done by the previous owner.

wow, thanks everyone for your relipes...it is greatly appreciated! I wasn't necessarily looking to upgrade my turbo, just getting am option mostly. I've never owned a fast street legal car before, besides my '71 Camaro which is pretty much only driven to the drag strip and back (because 9 mpg starts to hurt your pocketbook after alot of driving around lol), Im just looking to go a little faster . I treat my car like it's my...
FMIC is a great mod, it will really make top end more fun though you may notice a minimal lag since you will run more piping. My buddy setup his MSP a while back with a CS and he loved it, I highly recommend it. Good luck!

Do you have the HKS bov on your car now? Or do you just have it for later? The CS is good if you have that kind of money to spend on one I guess.. I offer FMIC kits on my website, I'm doing a sale right now too ($50 off) on them. Another thing you can do is look in the FS section, there is a MAM FMIC in there as well.
