Thread: Question About The End (spoilers obviously)

Thanks - I still am not sure though. I figured that the boy was a carrier but couldn't get the disease himself, just like his mother, which is why Rose Byrne's character was so bent on saving the kids. But because, as you pointed out, he was in the backseat and they kept showing the sister looking at him, I wondered if maybe he ended up biting the pilot. So you think that they died in an accidental crash?

I wonder if they'll make 28 Months Later and reveal what happened.

Although it is open-ended, I'm inclined to think that the scene of the zombies running through a tunnel and up the stairs meant that they ran through the chunnel between England and France. As for the empty helicopter at the end, it didn't seem like it crashed or burned up, so I'm not too sure Andy would've bit the pilot or his sister.

I think the Zombies in France L'Zombies, are running out of a Metro Station as there is one located directly across from their fancy Blackpool Tower, and the Channel Tunnel terminates in Calais not Paris.

I don't understand why most people don't get the ending, and keep making up their own version. Why would Andy infect the pilot? He obviously infected his sister because she doesn't have the genetic trait to be immune to the virus. A kiss, hug could've done it. The kid had blood all over him, so any contact to an open wound would also do it. Then you can imagine the rest, the pilot realizes she's infected while...

The end was pretty clear to me, but maybe you had a different version of the film, or you switched of your dvd to early :). For the second post on the first page, the mother did not have brown and blue eyes, the only set of characteristics of the brown and blue eyes were passed on to the boy, his father probably had blue, his mother brown. I should know since my mother has unfinished blue eye and a blue eye, while my grandmother has blue eyes. B-movies fear me, I am Canadian
