Welcome to Soups This is a 2.0 lt diesel you're talking about? I have a 2008 308 2.0lt man diesel and absolutely rapt in it I think the dealers have these cars with free leather at the moment. Probably looking at around 35 - 36k?? Decca

nah, this is the 1.6ltr Petrol model.. any thoughts to prices on road?? im thinking about 31 with a whole bunch of extras thrown in.. is that good, fair, bad unreasonable???

Buy the diesel manual... Dave

Yeah the diesel is a cracker, but don't underestimate the 1.6L turbo petrol, it's a great little motor. Whats the retail on the XSE Turbo these days? If 35-36k is the norm for the diesel I would expect the petrol to be about 3k cheaper. The free leather deal is with the auto diesel unfortunately, not the manual. Troy.

diesel is a little out of my price range i feel i also have it on good authority that Peugeot are ceasing production of petrol vehicles now across their range.. im going to be aiming for about $30-32k for the 1.6ltr turbo with a whole bunch of options thrown in... fingers crossed.

It is possible that Peugeot Australia may stop importing a petrol version of the 308 (as they have with the 407 range) but even that is a bit ...

i might see if they have a test drive available of the diesel version... the thing is, leather isnt a selling point for me.. i'd rather have 17"rims, 5stacker and other things included as more of a selling point for me

also just had a look Petrol - 7.1ltr/100km Diesel - 5.5ltr/100km PULP - $1.30 p.ltr Diesel - $1.15 p.ltr hmmmmm, with free leathers this could be the way to go

What about trying interstate dealers? If they have the one you want in stock, the price of a one-way flight and then an enjoyable drive might be worth it! Hi Guys, New to this forum. Just ordered a Black 308 XS Auto 1.6 under the $29,990 drive away deal. Still on the boat and should be delivered late November (provided it's unloaded in Perth - otherwise a few more weeks). This is for my wife and we'll take advantage of the 50% investment allowance. There are only 2 dealers in Perth, one had no stock for this promotion and the other had one (silver). My wife loved the car but isn't...
