I think I figured out that the eps that don't work for me are the ones where Shawn is the weirdest person in the ep. When he's so off-the-wall silly all by himself, it's just too much for me. I was upset that Henry didn't take the job at the end too, but maybe this means he'll get a little more airtime than he's been getting lately. More spec on the spoiler - They could also go the other way entirely - Shawn screws up so badly that he runs away from home. Again. They have the whole break to set up what their little world would be like after a few months without the boy wonder. They could have him return for the holidays. You know, in THE HOLIDAY EPISODE they better be doing this year.

Except the way Shawn covered for himself--accusing the wrong guy on purpose to try and suss out the real murderer--worked and there was no problem. Best Psych-Out EVER! I hope more comes of Vick's offer to Henry. I miss Henry. I was glad they pulled back on the shippiness this week. Other than that, I wasn't crazy about this episode. I found it a bit dull.

Weirdly enough, although that's how I tend to see their relationship normally, I thought the episode had some strange 'shippery vibes. The Grease exchange seemed to be a direct contrast to the fact that Scott didn't pick up on her Goodfellas reference. I found that curious, too. Omg. This was just the greatest epsiode ever, I was so tired after my graveyard shift that I was going to go to bed, and I changed my mind. Thank god for that. I am surprised that nobody mentioned what great coordination Shawn had with lassie at the very end, its like they looked at each other and knew what to do. Just agg.
