Right now I have this crappy EAS protein. It is only 21 grams and is probably the wrong thing for a weightlifter anyway. So what are some good protein powders? Please note if there is creatine in it. If you could rate the taste that would be good too. Thanks.
Also, is it true protein bars are a waste of time?
Most Protein bars are probably a waste of time. You just have to weed out the crap ones that get most of their protein from collagen by reading the ingredient labels.
They have their place though. Just not as a post workout or anything like that. Snack time is their place or when you just cant find the time to get away from work or whatnot to get real foods.
Yes, Protein bars are a waste of time and money both. I wasted both using
protein bars but then I came to know that having nutritious food is better
than that through ahealthdir.com. We can make our body fit if we eat proper
food and in proper manner. Eating only specific things disturbs our body
and put bad effect on our health in long run. One must take proper
proportionate diet daily.

Your best bet might be to make your own protein bars. They are easy to make and will be healthier than most of the products that you would currently find in stores.

I get a good protein powder from bulkfoodsdirect.com. It has 27 grams of protein per scoop. It's unflavored, so it doesn't have a nasty taste to worry about. Mixes well in most foods.
As for the protein bars, I agree, most are crap. I make my own with a recipe I got off the bulk foods website. They have some pretty good stuff on there, my favorite bar being the Fudge Almond bars.

I don't get all scientific when I drink protein shakes. ON whey is fine enough for me and I can almost guarantee I will see no difference between drinking the two
