Thread: Pronto module for Denon AVP-A1HDCI processor

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by trident
Would anyone here have a module with serial control for the Denon AVP-A1HDCI surround processor? I need to program this module for my home setup and I do not want to reinvent this wheel if someone has already put in the rather extensive serial codes into the pronto database. If anyone has a completed module I would be grateful if they could make it available -- I would be happy to pay for it. ...

Is it just for control, or do you want 2-way communication (scripting)?

I was hoping for 2 way communication with scripting. I managed to put in the basic control codes at least for the main zone. A nicer module than I have for just basic control (that lays out the commands for setup, soundfields etc in a logical and clear interface) would be something that would be quite useful too.

There's a free TCP/IP module for 9400 that could be reworked. See www.prontoprojects.com and free stuff.

I also have this same processor. The RS232 commands (direct) to it work perfectly. A module would be great, but straight commands work fantasic from my TSU9800 (and RX9600). SJ
