Thread: Project: Revitalize-a-dime

Started 1 month ago by Dr. Steve
Just a heads up, this will be a slooowww going project. We will be working on my 2002 s-10 Xtreme... I plan to revitalize the exterior of my truck. It has been in 3 accidents all rear-ender's so the ass end needs to have the corners pulled and new roll pan and gate. What I will be doing is as follows: *in no particular order...* -Repair of bed by pulling corners -Replace rear skirts...

Looks like a nice little revamp, all besides the tails. I just never liked those put on any truck. Goodluck with the re-do

Dr. Steve replied 1 month ago
thanks man... as for the tails i love them actually

Im not a big fan of the tails either but everyone's got their own style if we all liked the same thing all "custom" trucks would be the same. And just wondering why would you need dynamat for the hood?

Dr. Steve replied 1 month ago
engine noise mostly... I want it nice and quiet, I already have it on the firewall, ceiling, doors and back below the window and also the floor so it is like night and day man.

Also those tails will have a slight tint to them, I will be doing this as well...

Re: Project: Revitalize-a-dime man, i would possibly try and sell the seats and get some cash on top then buy some stock seats and start over. either way, its gonna be a big difference in the end
