Started 3 weeks, 5 days ago by curiousgeorg2360
I have been looking around here on the boards at some of theories people have for the finale. I haven't read everything, so these things may have been mentioned before. But, some people are suggesting that the new Trudy (TK) may have been the intended target. But in "Mr. Monk Takes Manhattan" Monk is afraid the bomb was meant for him, but doesn't Tennyson let him know that the bomb hit it ...

Also don't forget in Mr Monk is Up All Night we met the woman that got Trudy's corneas. That pretty much rules out the idea she is still alive.

But not the idea that the whole "Monk" series has been a dream, dreamed by Det. Adrian Monk while in a coma. But he'll survive. Cheers, Dan English subtitles are a MUST on all DVD releases!

But not the idea that the whole "Monk" series has been a dream, dreamed by Det. Adrian Monk while in a coma. But he'll survive. That is possible, but it would be a very risky move. Dream scenarios are difficult to pull off. The only show to ever do it successfully was Newhart. More often the not, fan reaction is more like what happened with Dallas.

Newhart only got away with it because everyone knew they were making fun of Dallas. The one i thought was really dumb is the End of St. Elsewhere.

Even though the scene only lasted a couple of minutes, it we got to see another favorite character one more time; 2 ...

I remember seeing the end of "Newhart" live - and knew what happened before Emily even sat up - recognized the geometric-type bedclothes. Funniest thing ever!

Even though the scene only lasted a couple of minutes, it we got to see another favorite character one more time; 2 if you count Suzanne Pleshette as Emily.
