Sunscreen should always go on first, before primer. -- Take a second to click on this link and then just click on the purple box to feed the animals. It's free. http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com

I read on another forum where someone spoke directly with the manufacturer of sunscreen product, and he told that person that sunscreen is ALWAYS tested on skin that is only cleansed with nothing else applied to it except sunscreen to reach the full benefit of the SPF. This representative said that it is standard to test this way. I have also read that in order to be fully protected, ...

I've read both sides of this argument in various articles by dermatologists. Supposely sunscreens are most effective when applied as the last step in our routine, so they don't get buried or covered up by other products and lessen their protection of the skin. I personally think the reasoning of chemical suncreens going on first while physical sunscreens going on last makes most sense but...

I just posted on the Isomers site today, and the rep there told me primer first sunscreen on top. I'll probably just skip the foundation.

Primer before of after sunscreen?

My thinking is that primer is usually a barrier between your skin/skincare and your makeup. If you apply your sunscreen last it won't absorb very well into your skin because the primer is blocking it's absorbsion. I know a physical sunscreen is just that, it's a physical barrier, but so is primer. If you use sunscreen after a primer I wouldn't think it would protect your skin as much as the other way around since the primer...

Check out Remede's Transluscent UV coat - it is a sunscreen (spf 30) that doubles as a primer - you can even get a tinted version for a light foundation. I love this stuff, and there's a great deal going on at http://www.blissworld.com/product/remede/remede+skincredible+set.<wbr...
