Following a comment in the 'Miscellaneous Duxford 80's-90's' thread about old 'real photographs' rather than digital, here's a selection of my older photos. Some of these were 35mm, others smaller compact film cameras such as the pocket disc cameras with 10mm negs! Apart from one, they date between the 1970's, up to around 2000 on my Honeymoon in the USA.
All have been cleaned up to a great ...
Go on then, you've twisted my arm!
B-23 Dragon, again at Castle AFB
Hendon's Beverley in the mid 1970's during my first visit there as a child
Fw190 at Duxford, possibly 1980's
Mosquito at a wet Flying Legends in the 1990's
Wow, Sun at Duxford!
I can't agree on film images being the only 'real' photos, but these are wonderful! It's interesting to see the Blackburn Beverley; the only one I've ever seen was the one at the Museum of Army Transport in Beverley, East Yorkshire, about 20 years ago and I remember back then, aged around 8, thinking what an odd looking aircraft it was, and it still is!
Thanks for sharing these, and ...

You know what I mean; paper printed photos, rather than 'virtual' pictures! ( Oh, and I'm converted to digi SLR's now )
anyway, last few for tonight!

Not pin sharp, but here's a nice and probably unique line up taken at Pima, the B-47, B-52A, B-52D & B-52G
Just a month after its first flight, this is how the newly restored Blenheim/Bolingbrook ended up.
BBMF Hurricane at Usworth. I'd guess mid 1970's, but I'm sure a BBMF fan will know when this scheme was used.
"Happy Jack's Go Buggy", probably in its first season at...
Not one, not two, but just for you ladies and gentlemen, we have three Lysanders at Flying Legends a few years ago. One must be the Shuttleworth, but who owned the other two? I'm sure only one flew in the display based on this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHhBA3ivEDY .
How about some sunset pictures? Both the B-17 and the B-24 are the 1/6 scale models seen a few posts ago. We were going to be flying them at a show in Norway, and this is the Thursday evening practice flight session. The B-24 was photographed earlier in the evening, while I flew my B-17 later as the sky colours became stronger, and landed while the light was just good enough to see clearly.

Looking forward to seeing more...

This lot are also from Abingdon, but the Battle of Britain display in September 1967. Not as good quality I'm afraid, from the days when as a 15-year-old I couldn't afford an SLR. We had (still have) family only about 5 miles from Abingdon, so my dad hardly needed much persuasion to pop down and see his sister at the drop of a hat!
I find it strange how the scenery around some airfields never seems to change or the little bit it does change does nothing to disguise where it is. In all my photos from Duxford the background always looks the same apart from different colours depending on time of year and what they were growing that particular year.
A few more from me, plenty left to scan, work comittments allowing! Firstly, a Tiger Meet F-104, location either Abingdon, Benson, Upper Heyford or Alconbury Lancaster at Duxford, early 80's A26 at Duxford
