this all seems will, but the upgrade stuff seems a bit of an issue. i agree for throws who can do the upgrade basically the early offer, its good, but kick i dont like was the part that said the install in xp case is forced to over xp and it doens't, not allowing in install on another partiaiton and offer help in backing up data. i always thought it should be that xp should be able to ...
So is this only going to be a upgrade copy not a full. So making a new computer with a new Case, Processor, Motherboard, Harddrive is not going to work on a upgrade right? I have a XP product key but It came on my old Dell computer.

what about the version to version issues with purschasing i was asking at the end of post i know home to home is equal, but wher does the new win levels fall with the vista one after that?
Not trying to be rude here, but I've got absolutely no idea what you're asking. Try using complete sentences, spelling correctly, and using punctuation and I'll bet you get a better response.
what i saying its what are the equals of the new win to the to current vista. i'm reading if you downgrade the install is different than the of the equal level of compared product? i was asking for what what each version of vista matches up to win7 soi can see if i thake advantage of the early offer.
For those living in the U.S., I think this pre-order special is a pretty good deal. I would purchase the Home Premium upgrade at $49.99 in a heart beat because my experience with Vista has been terrible.
I think he means what are the equivalent versions of Windows 7 to Windows Vista and as far as I know they're exactly the same but you won't get any "Ultimate Extras" because they finally admitted that was an idiotic idea but, of course, they won't be refunding those of us who paid sh*tloads more to get the ultimate version.

QUOTE (.Jamie @ Jun 29 2009, 12:35 PM) I just checked ebuyer (UK) and they have Windows 7 at: Home Premium ~ £90 Professional ~ £110 Ultimate ~ £145 Yes but if you read it further, that's to buy Windows Vista with an upgrade to Windows 7 when it's released. I'm sure I read that UK will get an upgrade offer too but not till the end of July.

QUOTE (amon91 @ Jun 28 2009, 03:37 PM) QUOTE (jasper2344 @ Jun 28 2009, 03:15 PM) So as Microsoft are not offering the upgrade version in Europe due to the anti trust case and they have said it will be full version at upgrade price will the offer this for pre-order? If they do i will be buying. Yeah, but usually prices are higher in Europe, even for upgrade copies. I agree but if they are still cheaper than...

QUOTE (Stapleton @ Jul 5 2009, 06:57 PM) Pre-ordered Windows 7 Home Premium yesterday off of Amazon, can't wait. Loved Vista, but I love Windows 7 even more. Can't wait until Oct. 22nd. My parents got me an early Christmas present, ordered two pre-orders from Best Buy today for my two Vista computers. Quite excited, can't wait to get them!
