Thread: Power Curve - Suggest a mod path

Started 2 months, 2 weeks ago by 9.8m/s/s

Or how do I achieve an increase in volumetric efficiency in the high rpms to at least stop the negative slope of the torque curve? It’s been ...

The dealer said the factory warranty will cover the motor? I'm surprised since it has an aftermarket exhaust. Unless the dealer isn't telling SOA about the downpipe so they won't have to eat the repair costs for selling you a modded car. Either way good luck on the repair. Definitely get that tune done as soon as you can. I prefer the AP for all the extra features that come standard on it.

Best way to protect these motors is with a custom tune where the timing is jacked way down. Period. The catch 22 here is that timing is also where you can make a lot of power on these cars. I run high boost, 10.8:1 AFRs and low timing. I have the environmental variables configured to protect my motor. My suggestion for those wanting to protect their motors is to get tuned on 91 octane and ...

I'm running the breathers into a catch can into the turbo inlet. Check my journal I describe it a little better there.
