Thread: Postage

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by tyt590
Hi, I'm pretty new at this forum stuff but just wondered if anyone could answer a question I have... ... Here goes, how come, when the Post Office are actually striking and postal charges keep going up, eBay in their infinate wisdom decide to lower or in some cases refuse P&P prices all together!!! It's madness! Complete.... can't actually print what I'm thinking but I'm sure you get the point....

eBay started out as a cracking site but over the years you (eBay) I ain't ebay, and nor do I work for them. The only one round here that does is James.

Let the customer decide if they are willing to pay the P&P as stated in the listing, please do not dictate to sellers what they can or can't do I couldn't agree more. What's worrying is there seems to be a lot of poeple quite happy to have their bottoms wiped for them. Can't help wondering if this is just a reflection of the masses of bone-idle peeps who reside in the UK... Can't be ...

As you can probably see, I am still listing on eBay! Which is a bit silly after my earlier outburst but I am also looking for another site to list my items and as soon as I find one I'm afraid that is where my hard earned money will be going. I would also like to point out that my original message was directed at eBay not the people that use eBay. Thanks, Owe3n.

tyt590 i too am disgusted with ebay so have dropped my listing from 340 to just 1 single item which i had listed as free postage before the rule came in. for my other 339 items i have found a great rival site to list on (not ebid) i cannot put the name on here though, it would be breaking the rules anna-146o
