Yo - MTB builder dudes. RE: the PM fixture. It's an easy & relatively inexpensive thing to make the fixture work for the standard PM placement as I have it drawn up, i.e., located for a 160 rotor and using adapters for larger sizes. I've considered making the fixture adjustable for larger sizes for post placement without having to use adapters, but am unsure of the value of this as it adds ...

Didn't you hear, there's a recession on! Seriously, a cheaper tool with some simple adapters/spacers would be fine. It's not rocket science to shim things out/in for PM stuff anyway. -Walt

I have never done post-mount with the upside-down mount. May have issues among the various calipers with different mounting tab dimensions? Fun solution, though. I just do standard post-mount. (Thanks for the kind words, Walt : ) )

thought so! read through brant's opinions on the chainstay mount benefits, that made sense, so why someone would've chosen one postmount on the chainstay and one on seatstay kind of seemed a bit half-empty/half-full thinking. either way, I thought it was a very elegant mount and I'm glad I saw it. iffy on the real benefits beyond being REALLY tight and beautifully rendered.
