not too many interviews this week....
Man, Rivers is such a jerk. Look at him throw his Oline under the bus there. Speaking of the sacks, Rivers says, "I told the guys up front, I coulda helped them on a few of 'em."
Then he goes on to MOCK them by saying they're the best group of guys and he wouldn't want anyone else up there.
What a punk. Dude is such a low-class loud mouth.
Thanks, Thumper300zx, lol, I need some comic relief every one in a while.
Sometimes this board makes me feel like the apocalypse is on the horizon.
Edit: Thanks for the reminder LABoltsfan.

Or thrown an interception. Sacks are not good but I thought he handled them just fine for the pocket passer he usually is. Don't forget though, there were plenty of designed roll-outs for him...

I heard what Rivers said, but I saw what he meant. You could tell he was a little upset. With that said, it's good that he's always PC. That's what the team needs. Sure the oline played like crap but when they realize that their QB didn't throw them under the bus and praised them, it will probably make them feel like crap. At least it should
Preseason is about working on the system and prepping the individual talent to carry out their role. Defense - Given theChargers want to work on their pass defense, I can see them NOT blitzing to assess the coverage technique/skills and over-all movement within the system. Offense - I think the critique of theO-line was spot on. They kept it basic, while looking for their rhythm. The Cards decided to blitz and the o-line did not to pick it up....
