never having had to shoot through a car for " real " I would shoot through the glass, because of all the other mechanisms inside the door. | You're going to get all sorts of opinions on this one but I would say no. I would want a bullet that will stay together better.

Have never owned a 25-06 but have heard nothing but good things about it.

There's no good reason from the standpoint of material costs. Less popular cartridges are made in smaller quantities, though, and that drives up things like overhead costs. We see much greater price discrepancies when we get into the really exotic stuff. I'm sure that many retailers also raise the prices of less popular loads because once they're ordered there's less chance they will move right away. Of course, that can be...
