Thomas Friedman : "I have no problem with any of the substantive criticism of President Obama from the right or left. But something very dangerous is happening. Criticism from the far right has begun tipping over into delegitimation and creating the same kind of climate here that existed in Israel on the eve of the Rabin assassination... Even if you are not worried that someone might draw from ...

Andrew Sullivan on John Frum's review of "Palin's" 400 page book. He reveals the contours of the next Republican presidential campaign, in which Palin will lead a cohort of Beck and Limbaugh dittoheads on a platform of a holy war in the Middle East, the restitution of torture as a core American value, and tax cuts in the face of massive and mounting debt. Here's what we will face in ...

Military intervention is what Obama's exponentially accelerating agenda for "fundamental change" toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama's radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible," - John L. Perry, Newsmax.

"Obama's first act as president of any consequence, in the middle of a financial meltdown, was to send taxpayers' money overseas to pay for the killing of unborn children in other countries," said Frank. "Now, I got to tell you, if a president will do that, there's almost nothing that you should be surprised at after that. We shouldn't be shocked that he does all these other insane things...

A poll was posted -- and since removed -- on the Facebook social networking Web site , asking whether the president of the United States should be killed. Federal authorities are investigating whether the posting was an attempt to incite violence against President Barack Obama or a sophomoric prank. Voting options were "yes," "no," "maybe" and "if he cuts my...

What? You've forgotten about Clinton? Its much worse. Maybe it's the easier communications we have, total bigots can peck out a semi-literate rants in all caps and press 'enter' or 'submit' and their message is instantly sent all over the world via rightwingnut sites like WND and Fox News. Not to mention the various blogs and message boards. Where before, they had to actually ...

Rightwing extremist World Nut Daily publishes, the removes, article about how the military can "take care of the Obama problem". So, if you are one of those observant military professionals, what do you do? Wait until this president bungles into losing the war in Afghanistan, and Pakistan's arsenal of nuclear bombs falls into the hands of militant Islam? Wait until Israel ...

"Someone recently pointed out how much Barack Obama's style and strategies resemble those of Latin American charismatic despots - the takeover of industries by demagogues who never ran a business, the rousing rhetoric of resentment addressed to the masses, and the personal cult of the leader promoted by the media. Do we want to become the world's largest banana republic?" - Thomas Sowell...

We didn't go to war in Iraq because Iraq was a threat to our allies or our "interests", whatever that means. We went because we were told Iraq was working on WMD and that, we were told, was an imminent threat to the country.

Compared to 90% of the crap and glitter kids are bombarded with these days, shooting is a good pastime for a young guy. It can teach discipline, concentration and how to work towards a goal. I've often thought about shooting the neighbor's Shih Tzu Afghan hound just to make sure I'm not getting rusty and to keep him from making deposits on my lawn as well, of course.. I hope he gets a full ride somewhere (your son, not the...
