Thread: 'Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007' everytime a file is opened

Hey, Wondering if someone could help me help a family friend. Everytime they open an Office file (doc etc) through Windows Explorer, it brings up 'Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007'. IIRC, they have no problems opening Office via the start menu. They have installed Office SP2, and I believe they run Vista. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot, Joe.

For Office Enterprise it is best to contact the IT person from where it was purchased through the Home Use Program. John here, similar problem. I get that stupid "please wait while Microsoft Enterprise 2007 blah blah blah" a couple times a day when I am simply trying to open or close a Word file. But I do NOT want Office Enterprise. Not sure what it is but NO NEED. Maybe it came on machine? (Acer netbook). ANYHOW how can I find and KILL (delete) Microsoft Enterprise 2007, or at least get it to stop hassling me? Thanks all "Peter...
