Great Post. Liked the examples. One thing - The subject is the comparison of Managers with Leadership skills vs Managers with Domain expertise (SMEs). In your essay, you have spoken little or none about the latter, rather you have concentrated on Managerial skills, which is not in question. Remember, Managerial skills can be taught & learned quite easily as opposed to the 2 points in ...

I agree with the speaker to an extent but my view is that good manager should be a good leader as well as experienced....
