Thread: Please help...just woke up and shaking but not ..

Ugh....I am going to give it a few minutes... just had diarrhea again!  Of course hubby isn't home and I am by myself with my 2 kids... what the heck!!!

Are you having any contractions? Diarrhea can be an early sign of labor and shaking can be a sign of transition. Call L & D.

Any labor symptoms........? Diarrhea can occur before delivery, and you can "shiver/shake" due to your hormones going into overdrive to facilitate birth as well.  Nausea as well...... In the absence of fever it doesn't sound like flu. I'd also make a call.

AW I know how you feel except my case has lasted since Wednesday, I know its not a virus, i read its a sign of pre labor. I am still having it and just trying to stay hydrated.  I hope you are not sick!  I go to the doctor on Tuesday I plan on talking to my doc then 

okay.. I called her and explained my symptoms.  First thing she asked was anyone else in the house sick.  Lo and behold... my son has had a fever and coughing for the last few days.  She said either I am getting what he has in a different form.... or I ate something.  She said the shaking typically means I am going to spike a fever so keep an eye on my temp.  She said to also expect vomiting... ...

Oh No... diarrhea since Wed??  I have actually had quite a bit of diarrhea this pregnancy and it will come and go.  I am really hoping this is something I ate and not a bug.  I have been soooo good about keeping us healthy and then this!   Poor hubby is going to feel sooo bad as he left us when our son was sick and felt so guilty and now me!

Would call, just in case. You may just have a stomach bug, but never hurts to check it out. Hugs.
