Is there any way to be a platon leader in game??? I want to lead a 3 squad...

Click on USMC in the create box. Open up Squads. Select the first one (Marine Corps Rifle Squad) and put it on the map. Select EchelonI1 as the player and thats it. This demonstrates the layout, you can of course use different soldiers to suit your needs.

As I understand it there are 3 ranks of command in game. The first is just a fireteam leader leading 2-5 men. The second is a squad leader leading 2-5 fireteams. The third rand is a platoon leader leading 2-5 squads. (an example of this would be that annoying guy you hear bossing you around while playing the campaign) As far as I know there is no way to reach the third rank...

considering that the older Operation Flashpoint and all the ARMA games have no unit limit, this is the worst design flaw to blaspheme the Flashpoint series. The entire premise of this game was to develop any military scenario you could dream up. Including 200 vs 200 unit fire fights, just because you felt like it. I am so mad at this unit cap, that I am installing ARMA2 again and ...

considering that the older Operation Flashpoint and all the ARMA games have no unit limit, this is the worst design flaw to blaspheme the Flashpoint series. I am so mad at this unit cap, that I am installing ARMA2 again and shelving this POS. The only thing we have to thank Codemasters...
