Im getting the new ps3 slim for christmas and was wondering what tv would the picture quality be better on.
I have a friend who states that LCD'S are better, but i have my eye on a nice plasma.
Surley though, they are both as good, depending on brand and price range..?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Not 1080p though but I personally wouldnt get too hung up on that, there is a lot more to take into consideration. Thanks mate, so whats the diference from a HD ready tv and a HD 1080p ready tv......?
I got a LG 37LH3000 LCD and it is better than the Samsung I have downstairs..and this is a quality LCD and a cheap price and it's full 1080p..
this looks good with my Slim....Cannot wait for Modern Warfare 2

Forget the 50 inch. If your sitting 7 foot away the picture won't look great unless you are watching everything in HD. The 46 might be to big. Go to your closest retailer and stand 7 foot from a screen before you decide on the size.

im a fan of the plasma myself, got my ps3 running in HD on my 1080 samsung and its superb. The latest LCD ones are pretty slim and pretty clear too right enough but im still a plasma man
I have LCD and I went though the which one choice you are going through, and was told that plasma's only have an average life span of something like a 1000 hours, never found out if that is true or not though.
