After putting this off for a long time, I finally got around to to replacing my shock/struts and springs.
The morning started off bad when it took myself and 2 others over 4 HOURS to get the passenger side pinch bolt out. I give my thanks to the previous owner having the car in the state of New York for 5 years. We tried everything that we knew of and could think of to get it out. We tried it...

Remove the sensor and try cleaning it. In all of the beating, you may have dislodged some rust that may be fouling the sensor. It just pulls out of the hole, albeit with a bit of resistance.

The sensor assembly is not hard to replace but you don't want to spend $100+ on your car if you don't need a ...

Much easier than killing yourself on a pich bolt with a BFH.

I couldn't get my pinch bolts out last week. So I soaked them in Liquid Wrench for 7 days at least once a day sometimes twice. Went out after the week and they came right out. Couldn't believe it.

I hate pinch bolts. I had one so messed up I had I soak it in PB Blaster for 14 days straight before uit would come loose. It also took a tank of heat to get it to move. total time spent on a pinch bolt was about 2 hours. Looks like you toped that.

Has anyone tried the 50/50 mix of ATF / Acetone? It's supposed to work better than any commercially available product for removing rusted / seized bolts.
