This is a very lightly used 2007 Fleetwood Avalon. We traveled to get it, (275 miles each way) but are tickled silly. It is hard to find a large, great conditioned tent trailer, for a decent deal, here in AZ. So we are very pleased. As you can see, she is a bigun!!!! 16ft box, tandem axles, 4.2cf refer, stove and oven, microwave, A/C, BIG heater, full RV porcelain toilet, shower, hot water, ...
Wow, I too have never seen a popup that big! It looks as big as a house in there! We don't get those up here too much, bears love checking things out and tear 'em up. That's the reason I sleep with my .480 when I'm in a tent. That thing looks luxurious, tons of fun ahead!
I grew up camping in a Sundowner camper, with no bathroom, and an icebox (we had one of those toilet "rings" with the bag. Disgusting). Since then, it has been tent camping, but none of that since we had Corey (too many peripherals). As we usually do, we took a lot of time to decide what we wanted, and research it. Rick, being a truck driver, wanted tandem axles............ and we didn't want...
We took over their payments. We got a much better interest rate, this way, than what is currently available (RV loans are a nightmare to get right now, if you don't have a REAL high credit score). Lenders consider an RV to be a luxury, and think someone will let their $200 trailer payment go, to save their house. Like $200 makes any difference. Basically, all RV loans are treated like you are ...

To me, it's not really camping if you have all...
I rode out a near hurricane in a camper like that. It was quite the night! The campground looked like a battle zone the next morning. 7" of rain in a few hours. People who weren't off the ground, well, they weren't sleeping, they were bathing. The good thing was that it was a scorcher the next day and everyone's stuff got dried out pretty quickly. What's strange is how well an air conditioner ...
Quote: To answer your question Robert, the majority of the larger PUP's have internal showers/bathrooms, many of the smaller units have them optional. It has become very common. What isn't common, is the hard walled bathrooms, and standard porcelain RV toilets. The hardwalled bathrooms only come in some Highwall PUP's, and RV toilets are only available on Highwall Forest River and Fleetwood/Coleman models. The...

This is my idea of roughin' it !!! Its nice to have a/c after a hot day of atv'ing. Having your own toilet and shower is another thing I appreciate. Shittin in the woods or a nasty camp ground toilet is not fun and showering in some fungus factory community shower is just gross. I guess I'm too much of a wimp for tenting anymore...
