They're welcome.

I should have bought their stock when it was $1.05 or whatever. I'd be driving a Raptor now if I had done that.

They said on the news that Ford predicts to be out of the red by 2012 (around the time of the end of the world-lol). They also said that CFC was a big part of it, so I wonder how they'll do this year.

At the current price of $7.50, it's still a smokin deal for the long term. On a side note, I bought a lot of GM at that time too. Fockers... lol.

Ford during the same period added $800 million in debt. Running the total debt up to $26B and some change. Accounting can make any number look good or bad depending on the perception one wants represented.

They are still much better off than GM and have the greatest prospects for recovery right now.

Huck BB62 replied 2 months ago
Yeah, how's Chrysler and GM looking?

94LightningGal replied 2 months ago
Chrysler looks like "dead man walking," and noone knows on GM, as they are now privately held (by us and the UAW) and do not have to publicly publish their quarterly results.

Not one with me. Responsible borrowing is fine with me. In fact, I support it. Leveraging your money/assets is a great business practice.

If they borrow 800 million so Ford Credit can loan it to customers buying vehicles, then there is a performing asset. If the spread of interest rates covers possible defaults and leaves a profit, then where is the problem?
