OK the budget is 1000 dollars don't need a monitor, and or hard drive. The only game I will probably be playing on this computer will be starcraft 2. I would prefer intel but am not set on it. Message Edited by Gh3tTo5oLdIeR on 09-09-2009 10:56 AM
IMO if youre only playing starcraft 2, stick with one video card and give yourself extra cash towards the mobo/cpu/ram. Possibly grab one of the new Lynnfields.

Yeah, it will only be starcraft 2. The only PC games I've ever played are the Age Of Empires series, Warcraft series, Doom, Duke Nukem, and Starcraft. Never really got into it other than that...oh I also played oregon trail. Thnx for the help guys much appreciated. This setup will work with 64bit Vista right?
The rig I posted is set up for pure video game performance. Sure, you could go with one video card and get an i7, but dual vid cards will, in most cases, get you better framerates for your dollar. Message Edited by Samuel71 on 09-10-2009 06:20 PM
