My ASUS motherboard also states the only Phenom II it supports is the 715... but it does not exist.
You *could* install a Phenom II at your own risk but it would be much better to get a new motherbard that supports the new CPU.

Hi!
This is my first post in this forum, i'm writing from Italy just to have som informations about the cpu in the title.
My mother board (asus M2n-SLI) with socket Am2+ supports the CPU PhenomII X3 715, but i can't find it nowehere.... even on the amd website. Does it exist?
The OPN fpr this CPu is HDZ715WCJ3DGI... it's my last chance to upgrade this system and i don't wont to buy a new ...
