I thought the Celtics had it locked up... until Phelps went and won 8 golds. Figured it would come down to those two.

Excellent. They made the right choice. Kind of hard not to choose the greatest Olympian in history. I suppose. Also hard to pick against a team that provided the greatest one year turnaround ever... even if it was completely revamped, which makes it all the more impressive to win a title the right way. There's also an argument that a team that was tested over the course of an entire season...

Believe it or not, these guys are in constant training. They don't just show up at the Olympics and jump in the pool. Yes, I am aware of that... I almost included a caveat saying I know there are trials, trainings, etc.... but the same goes for basketball players.
