I'm officially starting a petition thread because I'm pissed off at the poor quality of the customer service from creative. I run SB Audigy 2 in my Win 7 (64bit) system with 8 GB of ram. Creative's so called solution for me to fix my sound and mic issues is to lower my system specs, run a crappier computer and use a 32 bit OS with only 4 GB of ram. Win 7 and other 64 bit OS's have been...
There will be no fix for this issue. Creative has everyone in a position right now where they face the choice of buying a new sound card if they really want hardware audio. Their business strategy will not allow them to correct the issue, they know they will likely lose a few customers, but they also know that a good percentage will simply upgrade to the Creative card that works (PCI-x version...
Well I wont be buying another creative product until they release a driver that works, never mind Windows 7, even the Vista drivers suck, if they dont fix it soon I will be buying more sound cards, but no way on earth will they be creative, I would rather use the onboad sound, at least that works
Hi, I long came to the realization that working 64-bit drivers were never going to happen. So I enabled the onboard Realtek sound to use the microphone jack, while keeping the Audigy 2 for sound output. Sure it might not be a "comfortable" solution but it's an actual solution that works, very well I might add. You'll have a working mic input and also the satisfaction that you did not ...
What kind of BS is this, I get banned for saying Creative drivers are bad? I'm Steve1077 and I'm not impressed, I'm removing all my creative sound cards as of now and will not ever be buying anything else from Creative, and I will make sure eveyone that asks what I think about Creative, for years I've been waiting for Creative to get their finger out, all the way back to when Vista came out, I ...
Steve1078,
Whenever we ban someone it's for a reason. However in your case, we didn't ban your account. Based on our records the recipient of e-mail (Steve1077) requests this e-mail address to be removed from our system.
Let me reiterate, you are welcome to express your views so as long as it does not conflict with the forum rules .
it says when I try to access the forums "We're sorry, but you have been banned from using this site", the only thing I did was to opt out of emails about replies, and I didn't even get to do that as when I tried to look it said I was banned
I will see if I can fix that but you can only keep one account, so it's either Steve1078 or Steve1077. Let me know if you want to continue using the current one, just send me a private message.
I haven't decided on a new card yet. I'm kinda of trying to decide the brand right now looking at Asus or Auzentech because I have heard good things about both.
As far as telling everyone you know not to go with creative products I've definitely already done that. Everyone at my work now knows not to purchase creative products and I've posted on about 6 overclocking website communities ...
Well I bought my new card on saturday. Asus Xonar Essence STX . It works perfectly in Windows 7 (64 bit) with 8 GB of ram. It also has this cool "virtual surround sound" feature that works with my headphones so now when I play WoW I have a simulated surround sound in the headphones and the sounds change based on how close/far I am from stuff and what side of my toon the sound is coming from. Anyway you guys enjoy Creative and...
I notice that you like to especially reply to my posts in particular and counter them no matter what. I am sure this is called stalking, trolling and flaming but I might be wrong. I take it you have no other better things to do than to build up a background about me based on what I post in different topics and take everything for granted.
Administrators that have issues with statements that are being made on an open public forum should not add fuel to the fire and publically try to flame the offending poster. This makes the admins look real bad. Weather you want to admit it or not as an offical Creative forum this in the eyes of all that have access to read these posts are in itself negative press for Creative as a whole. You can quote the disclaimer all you want it...

Thanks for the reply. The thing that I'm not happy about is I just built another computer using 4gb ram and W7 64 with my old Audigy 2ZS and it works better than my x-fi xtreme gamer
