So I am asking responsible people to help save the future of our children and grandchildren and if you are a senior citizen you may be prolonging your time to spend with them. How you ask? Write, email, or call your Maryland US Senators and Reps and tell them that you do not want this Obama Health Bill passed and if they vote for it that you will do everything in your power to see that ...

When opponents to health care reform start giving true, cogent, logical arguments against it, I might start listening. As it stands now, I haven't called my Congressional representatives to voice either for or against.

What we are being told about this reform, and what is actually in writing, are two different things, much like the bail-out bills. Their philosphy is, the public doesn't always know what is good for them, so just do whatever it takes to get it passed, and we'll worry about the ramifications of lying to /misleading the people, after the fact. In the case of Medicare Part D, the drug plans are private insurance plans.

There was a Republican congress from 1995 through 2006, with a Republican President from 2000 to 2008. If they had wanted it done "right," they should have worked on it then. Tort reform!! Tort reform!! If Republicans thought tort reform was so important. Why didn't they fix it when they had the chance? Were they afraid of not being re-elected?
