Thread: People who don't understand the metric system
Started 3 months, 1 week ago by Carte Blanche
If you are too dumb to work out how tall you are without using feet and inches, LOOK AT YOUR FUCKING DRIVER LICENCE.
The next time I hear a fat chick say she could do with "losing a few pounds" I'm going to harpoon the bitch.
wtf my licence doesn't have my height on it?
I understand the metric system perfectly well, I still am a better judge of peoples heights in feet/inches though.
I can then convert to mm easy enough, 6 feet being a bit under 1830

In which state does your drivers license have your height?
To be honest I think a lot of people, myself included, still think of heights in feet and inches. If you said someone was 5' or 6' I would have an idea of how tall someone but when you start talking in cm's I'm not quite sure.
Then why not make every month 30 days and make it completely standard.
Or, better yet - why not make the year a metric length as well.
And a minute or hour too.
1 British pint. You are already qualifying. a British pint might be 568, but an Imperial British pint is 570ml. South Australian 425ml American 473ml Australian Milk 600ml New Zealand 450ml European Metric 500ml That's 4 pint definitions used in Australia (568 / 570 / 425 / 600) alone, and you claim there are only 2 used universally?
