MT-LBu in PLA service.
While no one reported it, there are indications that a number of the Russian MT-LBu (Multi-Purpose Fully-Amphibious Armored Carrier) are now in service with the PLA. Initially, the MT-LBu was developed to host the 122mm 2S1 Gvozidka self-propelled artillery system. Over time, it has become known as the tractor because it has the same chassis as so many specialized ...
PLA is spending much of its resource in converting some of its new Z-9 fleet into "Air Defenders" in a chopper strike package -- they know very well that PLAAF won't be there to cover them.
TY90 equipped Z-9W of the 4th LH regiment.
Another drop in the very deep well that is the PLA. I suspect this piece of equipment will provide an easy source from which to locate local command elements for elimination during a conflict, by using basic elint/sigint/comint tactics. Elint/sigint/comint tactics makes this a very obsolete piece of gear and one that looks to be a gapfiller, and a poor one at that. (Referring to the MT-Lbu not...

The R-330B jammer was deployed to A-stan during the mid 1980s by the Soviet and clearly not state-of-the-art by any means, but tracking an ECM platform back to command HQ would be difficult consider the PLA SOP for REGT/BattleGroup HQ is connected to pair of ZZT Comm Relay APC/Trucks ...
Here is a write up from Steve M, an AH-64 pilot who saw action in both Gulf Wars.
Z-9G Attack Helicopter in Air-to-Air Configuration
Recently open source internet images have been seen of the Z-9G mounting the TY-90 lightweight air-to-air missile in two 4-missile racks.
The TY-90 ("TY" stands for TianYan, or ) is a short range air-to-air variant of the Chinese QW-2 ...

Good catch, it is from a recent documentary (or PR as some people would call it)
Back to Topic, PLA's airborne backpack kitchen, while MRE has been a standard issue, but for some reason, they never developed a taste for it. Will the PLA still march without soy sauce? Each PLA company has a 10 man squad in charge of food.
It is very possible that someday as both tiawan and china change that some form of reconcilation could be reached. Perhaps to get this sooner and more peacefully there could be less beligerance toward neighbors and the release of states that are not part of china, allowing some discussion of their future amoung your people and religious freedom might also be a step in the right direction. I bet if even half of the things on the list are...

Chinese army is called PLA. US Army should be renamed GLA (Global Liberation Army) . ---A chinese people who was opressed over 30 years is looking forward to...
So your only problem is with the name "Liberation". Well, too bad you don't speak Mandarin. Liberation is the translation of the Chinese word "Jie Fang". "Jie Fang" means to free someone from something. The PLA freed people from the earthquake zone or the KMT rule, or you can say you are "Jie Fang'ed" from poverty or a flooded area. It's the "Zhong...
