Seriously, though, the DRM on this game is really no worse than having to type in a CD key from a boxed game. This is actually one of the few places where DRM *makes sense* -- this isn't the same as Apple preventing you from playing the new Weezer song on non-Apple hardware, it's just a way of ensuring that the game doesn't get copied willy-nilly by people who haven't paid for it.
Don't try to rationalize the horrible things Penny Arcade has done. There's nothing that can be said or done to make up for all the times they screw over their fans.
