Thread: Pay Per Click Advertising?

Started 3 months, 4 weeks ago by pats4801
I want to start a pay per click advertising network like adlink, adsense etc. except the payouts will be higher and it will cost less to put ads on than other advertising companies. The only problem is I dont know where to start. Any tips/pointers would be great.

PPC is a VERY effective way to turn a profit now, but depending on your business model and targeted key words it may not be an option. This is a very competitive market, but there is definitely money to be made in this market. I am not sure I like the idea of your doing both SEO and Pay Per Click initially. Maybe you will want to master one of them and add the other later. One thing with PPC is you will definitely need to have software to protect against fraudulent clicks. Hope I was helpful. --Reggie

Yes, you want to do both, why not dominate two markets? I am going to say you would need a programmer for that. Maybe check into e-lancer for a programmer for hire.

If you're worried about the costs of a programmer, I think you're going to have a hard time in this market. There are companies spending millions of dollars to grab their share of the online marketing/advertising business and the majority of them fail.

I'm looking to start small I'm not looking to make millions of dollars. And about the cost of programming I'm not worried as long as it isnt a huge amount.

What about the SEO part? All I'd need is a web designer right?
