Thread: Pashto fonts problem with ubuntu solved

Rendering Pashto fonts in ubuntu is a big problem in linux as well as Ubuntu , I have faced to many problems while I was working with Pashto fonts, and I have googled alot to solve this problem , but unfortunately I have found nothing and considered that many people have the same problem as I. So finally I have decide to work on this problem and after a long time trying finally I got the way...

I usually just download a font to my Home directory, extract it if necessary, and then just copy it to (a folder in) /usr/share/fonts (using something like Krusader if not the command line). I'd be very wary about downloading to and extracting in a system folder.

Follow instructions, extract the package( p8n) after downloading and add it to your /usr/sare/fonts directory. after that change its mode. Code: sudo chmod -R 755 /usr/share/fonts/p8n I did for my ubuntu machine and many others did the same job. The fonts rendering problem is totally solved with. WAHAJ
