Thread: Park 96 Work Party - Saturday June 16

We need to do some fixing up of the course in preparation for the Solstice Weekend on June 23-24. Most of the work is just repairing and leveling tee pads. We are also wanting to level of the #6 tee-off and build a retaining wall around it. We are looking at getting started shortly after 8am (your pass will get you in at 7am) and with enough people we should make short work of it. Tools ...

Looks like we have been rained out for today. The weather is supposed to turn nice for Monday, so hopefully we can get out on one of the weeknights and get the work done. At this point the forecast is saying 40-50mm tonight, 30-40mm tomorrow.

Solstice is coming up fast on us and we could use some help at Park 96 to level off tee-pads etc. If you can spare some time after league on Tuesday I am sure we can make short work of it. Bring rakes, shovels wire cutters (for zip-ties) and some energy and we can get this thing finished off for the weekend. I will likely be out there tonight finishing off the #6 tee-off and maybe putting up...

#6 tee-pad is now more level than ever before - it will take some getting used to. Thanks to Mike, Kevin, and Scott (Park 96) for helping get it done. It's hard to believe how much dirt is displaced to make a tee-off semi-level. Still some work to do tonight after league - mostly zipping up the teepads better and a bit of leveling off. There are two tee-pad sections missing that I will bring ...
