Yawn.....all style, no substance.? Total waste of time remake.

I? was very surprised when I finally watched V. I felt the original was so great why screw it up. The new one is very good and I will continue to watch it. I like how they make it make more sense that they have been living among us for a long time.

The miniseries came out when I was like 7 or 8. i absolutely loved it then and I looked forward to watching the new miniseries with a little skepticism I must admit. I even watched the old miniseries on Syfy days before just to rehash. I was thoroughly delighted by the remake. It's amazing what technology has been able to bring to the show 25 years later and I can't wait to watch the next one!

I think the first 45 minutes were very slow. I understand that the show is developing the characters but, they could have injected some more action in the mean time. Also I noticed that when the mother ship descends on NY, unnanounced, there are soldiers within minutes in the streets of NY. Far, far from a real scenario. Kind of dissapointing for those in charge not to have done some research.

I watched 10 minutes of it and then was finished with it.? Different name, but same old schit rewritten for entertainment. ? LAME show!
