I feel that having this IBS issue is totally suffering in life. Each and every day I deal with pain, discomfort, fear, embarassment, etc. I can't eat like others, go on trips, go out to parties or even participate in life the very way I want to. I have always continued to "do it anyways" but I am really wearing thin on this suffering and forcing myself to push through in life. People ...
There's lots of information about Anti-D's down in the "Antidepressants" Forum. It is all very dependent on you and how your body works. Idiosyncratic.
I thought I explained it well enough in my first post, but I guess not. My background story is that I went through it, tried to get help with multiple doctors, and got really tired of it. Tried to find answers outside of a medical office, etc, etc. I have found ways to cope, make life a little easier but that isn't what I want. I want a cure and since that doesn't seem like exactly possible...
Garlic does kill yeast, first off. Its one of the most potent anti fungals in existence. If you are that off on your facts about garlic i tend to believe your other facts are off as well. Some people undoubtedly do have and mistake candida for what is actually SIBO but candida isn't some kind of made up scifi enigma. Research by the mayo clinic links jock itch, atheletes foot, almost every...
Another update. The ct scan result came back normal. As expected. And also good to know that I don't have any other diseases. I went back to the Chinese physician, he took my pulses, look at my veins on my palm and tongue. He commented that I have a weak body, then he proposed to give me a weekly treatment, consisting of taking Chinese medicine, and also my diets. I am still on the first ...
Glad to hear you felt good enough to get out of the house. I understand the embarrassment of having excessive gas; it's awful. Hope you continue to improve.
Hi I currently have the same problem, but I'm fairly certain I know the root of it. I do have Crohn's disease, but I keep it under control fairly well. When I'm on a probiotic for more than a week or two, my stomach gets very bloaty and I feel tremendous pressure that really makes me just want to give up whatever I'm doing. This happened to me before and I stopped all my medication and ...
Hi I am so bloated and it feels like someone is in my upper stomach and chest pushing their way out. So much pressure, makes it difficult to take deep breaths, if i had a pin and could pop my stomach it would be fine, I dont know what is causing it, burping doesnt help not that i can do that much, nor can i fart, had a CT scan a few weeks back, waiting for results, ive IBS-D....
Sometimes it is gas, sometimes it is the activity of the colon. If it goes away when you fart or burp you can be pretty sure the gas is setting off the symptoms (usually from distending the GI tract, not because it does anything to damage you). Noise is from the activity of the colon. Now sometimes different contents may make it a bit noisier than others, but the noise is from the activity. It should always be making at least a tiny bit of...
I was reading that not getting enough fiber can allow for small intestinal bacteria overgrowth. I get the idea that most gas is produced in the colon from bacteria breaking down soluble fiber. Perhaps getting more insoluble fiber and less of the soluble fiber might help.
Im finding a cold and flemin my throat agrivating too! had this cold for about a week...worse when i get up and the flem builds up during the day! i tend to get bad gas from Bottom too...smells mum blamed the dogs earlier nit was me LOL
QUOTE (Virgilaug @ Nov 4 2009, 10:47 PM) Don't do it. If you do you'll be giving up which is never an option. Keep fighting. In the meanting try these supplements taking them all together. They work for me. Also consider going vegan. Digestive enzymes Acidophiles Garlic oil (not garlic extract) Chlorophyll Fiber pills Lecithin Thank you for the list of supplements. I will print these off and take them to my gastro...
Right and sometimes we just need to forge ahead despite our symptoms, just like you have done. Good for you! I tend to overlook smaller (just annoying as opposed to debilitating) symptoms and try to just ignore them. I know full well No One has a perfect body, everyone has things that annoy them and I'm no different. It is all in one's perspective.
