anytime there is a history of breast cancer, the doctor and patient have to talk about risks....there ARE risks to taking YAZ and any other birth control drug. A week ago I got my biopsy results back and was diagnosed with mild vaginal dysplasia and given Aldara cream for 12 weeks to treat it. The thing is, I have symptomatic dysplasia. It usually doesn't cause symptoms, but mine came with constant irritation/burning and a heavy yellow discharge. As the other poster said, that needs to be discussed with her gyno. There are different kinds of breast cancer and the doctor will need all the details so that they can make an informed decision. And your friend needs to know that as well...and be tested for the gene if that is indicated.

minx i had CIN3 in around april too! and i'm positive that it's my ovary causing the aches and pain. my margins were unclear after the LEEP even after they took TWO swipes outta me during the LEEP. the doc said it extended quite deep into my cervix... find out on monday what the biopsy shows.. thats, 4 days! wish me luck! and i wish the best of luck to you i hope you both figure out what's going on sooner than later. much love,...

I agree, stop driving yourself nuts and do a pg test. It takes all of a few minutes and then you'll know.

kalfieri08: You need to question your family members and find out if this is something that could be hereditary. It will be good for a doctor to know the family background. Have you ever spoken in depth with your mother about this? I find it hard to believe that this could go on like this without someone questioning anything. You need to see a gynocologist and get checked out. What if you want to get married and have a family? You need to know...
