Looking for the honest Democrat! Nancy Pelosi?  yah, gotta be kidden! Nancy swore in NY-23 Bill Owens before he was certified "Clean" by New York Then Bill Owens, "Honest Democrat" reneged on 4 campaign promises. I can see why Obama is a Democrat said Harry Reid.  We think alike! So Hutch, hang in there!

TeamPOLITICO : Nov. 13, 2009 - 5:24 PM EST   Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) will announce she is delaying her resignation from the Senate so that she can continue to represent Texas in the Senate while pursuing the Republican nomination for governor in the Lone Star state. Why is this a story, was it news when John ( who served in Vietnam ) Kerry didn't resign his Senate...

She won't resign because she wants to have a job in March.  The writing is on the wall that she cannot win this primary because she is a RINO and Texans have finally figured it out.  Now if only we could get a true conservative to take her Senate seat too.

Her gubernatorial campaign might be more successful if she were more of a leader in the Senate.  Now, as never before, we need our senators to speak loudly, forcefully against the health care takeover by the government.  We don't need wimpy, mousey representatives who let Reid and the other democrats bully them and push them around.   KBH, stand up and start shouting!  Shout "no" to ...

Senator Hutchison won't resign because she is 11 to 12 points behind GOV Perry. She can't win, too moderate.  She also may have a challenger for the Senate primary that is pretty conservative also.  Preaches conservative values but votes weak on closing the borders and other social issues.  One of her sponsored bills stopped the fence construction on the Mexican border

If I was her...I wouldn't resign either.  She just needs to get her position out as to where she stands on the different issues and continue to fight in the Senate for ALL Americans---we don't need this Health Care as it is currently being proposed.  It does NOTHING for what it was suppose to be for.

I love the weak kneed politicians who will do a cruddy job in their present positions while running for an office they don't think they will win. She doesn't deserve either position.

She can't win in the governor's race. She is a Washington insider and a RINO. The people want someone that's not having their strings pulled by Washington.

Very few lying Reds, would give up their seat, if at all possible to not do so. Look at Nixon, .....he hung on, defied the law, erased tapes, sweated on television ....say he wasn't a crook.....on his knees with Kissinger praying.....at least the perverted republican Mark Foley left peacefully....at least he done that right! Look at Craig, closet queen republican tapping feet in public restrooms looking to give some man a good time, he...

Vanbren5 : Nov. 13, 2009 - 8:28 PM EST KBH sees the writing on the wall. There is no way she's going to win that primary. The republican party has alienated all moderate women, non-christians, Hispanics and other people of color. She's trying to save her party but there's nothing she can do. The republican party is now the party of ignorant toothless rednecks and they are a dwindling minority in Texas and across the nation....

bones : Nov. 15, 2009 - 8:32 AM EST   I am proud to be an ignorant toothless redneck from Texas,   I know you are at least in part joking, but as a 60 year old southerner, whose family has lived in the south since the late 17th century, I find this sort of talk counterproductive and demoralizing.  How can anyone be proud of being ignorant, exhibiting bad hygiene, and being racist?  This sort of attitude is what...
