Thread: PC Turning on prob

mobo - foxconn mars this is the prob , sometimes (in the morning) i switch on the UPS and then at once i click the power button of the mobo(in the casing) . but sometimes the power light came in and it goes off . then again when i push the power button again the power light turns on and it starts the fans . but at once it goes off . i didnt cleaned the pc for abt 1 year now. its not tidy in ...

are you sure its not powering on, turning off for a second, then powering back on again? thats actually a common thing on intel based boards

i have the same problem,i just unplug the power cable from the PSU leave it for some times plug it back in and it works.

Do you have a UPS or just a surge protector? You would be surprised how many people reverse the names. You said you turn your UPS on in the mornings right before you turn your computer on. I know my UPS instantly goes to battery backup for about 10 seconds when I first turn it on. If your battery is old and weak it may not be able to power the computer at boot because of the large initial ...

i have the same problem,i just unplug the power cable from the PSU leave it for some times plug it back in and it works.
