First of all, I want to say congratulations. You've come a long, long way from the Year Zero fan-film we saw a while back. To be totally honest I wasn't expecting much when I clicked on the link but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's creative and very well-executed. Great work!
Was this shot in front of a green screen with the glowing white added later, or in front of a back-lit silk? ...
We ran into a lot of issues from the transfer process from 16mm colour film to digital for editing, and that's where most of the colour issues came from. It was because we shot in a light box in order to blow out the whites, and then when we had it transferred from our neg to digital, they purposefully made sure none of the whites blew out. This was our fault for not telling them that we WANTED ...
I really enjoyed it.
EDIT: the shots of the girl completely made of ribbon didn't really jive, might have worked better with some more unraveling shots. very minor issue though.

These are nitpicky things as I am unqualified to speak about the cinematography or anything like that: details sell the idea.
You start off with a futuristic Minority Report-ish computer interface, but for what your character is doing, this interface doesn't make any sense. If you watch Minority Report again, you'll see that the touch interface was for arranging and controlling the playback ...

Awesome short film dude
I liked it a lot.
Didn't David Cronenberg and Rachel McAdams go to York also? Sounds like you're in a great program, good luck to you!

That's another effect of having only two weeks to make a movie, and get original music composed for it, and shooting the film before the music is composed.
Though, thankfully, he's actually conducting perfectly...
