One of my Forums is for Obitaries / Bereavements and it is inappropriate within Topics raised to display some User Avatars. I would like either to display a specific avatar (obituary.gif) or, if that's not possible, no avatar at all, against all user postings. http://www.1420h.org.uk/Forum/viewforum.php?f=7 Can anyone please suggest a way of achieving this? It will be much appreciated. (3.0...
Hi, I want to offer commercial advertisers the possibility to use a specific forum for their adverts rather than them spamming the lot. The most practical solution would for them to make a small payment and then being able to grant them write access to that specific forum for 6 months. Once the period ends so does the write access (for the specific forum only); they want to renew - they pay ...
phpBB has everything set up to make this happen, you just need a little template tweaking In viewforum_body.html I added this code: Code: Select all <!-- IF topicrow.S_HAS_POLL --> <img src="./images/poll.gif" alt="{L_POLL}" /><!-- ENDIF --> Right before this: Code: Select all <!-- IF topicrow.S_UNREAD_TOPIC --> Of course you can change where you want it to show, that's just ...
I use aMember (amember.com) to control the paid membership on my site. http://www.potd.com.au With a couple of added plugins, it looks after both Coppermine and phpBB3 automagically for me. It handles all the registrations, payments (via PayPal), membership expiries/cancelations and assigns the members to specific groups within both areas. Once you have members assigned to a particular ...
suggested from http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=70& t=579891 and here you can find the source code http://www.jtsenterprises.biz/phpbb.php open includes/message_parser.php and find this code 1) Code: Select all $cfg = array(); $cfg['max_attachments'] = ($is_message) ? $config['max_attachments_pm'] : $config['max_attachments']; $forum_id = ($is_message)...
Hi, I'd like to have the ability for the posters of a topic to request tracking of who's read the topic e.g. - view a list of all who've read the topic or - view a list of those who have *not* read the topic Is this possible? This is needed in some cases where the administrator or others need to be able to know that all users have read (important) information. Is it possible to build this ...
I think you misunderstand. I want a poll_unread image, a poll_read image, a poll_read_mine image, a poll_read_hot_mine image etc.etc. It would take the place of the topic folder image, not the topic icon. That's how the phpBB2 mod worked too.
viewtopic.php?f=69&t=573016&hilit=welcome Must admit I used to have a MOD like this on an old board and only about 20% of them ever got read. I just ended up with an outbox full of unread PMs.
Are you sure this one is correct? The ")" looks out. Not any SQL genius tho, so.. Code: Select all UPDATE phpbb_posts SET `forum)_id` = N WHERE `topic_id` IN(SELECT `topic_id` WHERE `topic_last_post_time` < xxxxxxxxxxx;
Never mind I got a new blog MOD, thats alot better its exactly for phpbb only. Made by my friend.. Example: www.generalpalace.com/blog.php It intergates with boards and can post announcements from the blog onto the boards, its the best blog system I ever seen! www.phpbbdevelopers.net He owns this site who made it. He makes awsome phpbb mods.
