You want to know of Jesus who they say wrote "A Course of Miracles" Read the Christian Bible. Jesus did for everyone's sins and lives again under his own authority is this not worth reading and studying?

Everyone I know who has studied A Course in Miracles and then reads the Bible again, finds rereading the Bible a much richer experience.

Some have only read "A Course of Miracles" they do not have a complete understanding this is why I am recommending the Christian Bible. Begin with the New Testament and then read the Old Testament if you want.

Think of how great the experience would be if you read the new testament in the "Christian Bible" and "A Course of Miracles"? Think of how much more you would know of Jesus who they say wrote "A Course of Miracles", read his words in the bible. Why not?

I did not say anything about the Bible being dependent on miracles. From your post, though, you seem to define "miracles" and their function(s) differently than A Course in Miracles. ACIM is not putting any conditions on God. You may be confusing it with The Secret which promises manifestations to those that practice "the secret". ACIM is not about manifesting possessions. My feeling ...

I did not say anywhere that the Bible is dependent on miracles. "Why do people give god a condition . . .? I could speculate, but that is another matter than has nothing to do with the subject at hand, A Course in Miracles. You may be confusing ACIM with The Secret.

ACIM describes a miracle as the undoing of the unreal, or an expression of love, not to attract attention or to prove anything...

Jindalee writes: What is important, Christs death or what he died on? anlore writes: The importance is in knowing Jesus died for our sins under his own authority to redeem everyone. Knowing Jesus died so we may live in heaven in perfect mind, body, and spirit is what is important.:D Jindalee writes: Do we live for God now or in the future? anlore writes in answer to when we live...

If Jesus wrote anything (which I doubt), He certainly didn't write ACIM, a book full of the biggest nonsense ever written.

People take other people's word for events all of the time on the street, why wouldn't we believe it from the bible? Christians are people too. Not perfect, sinful people like everyone else and they do not love unconditionally. Do not expect them to, christians are not God. egowatcher wrote: You're saying yes, you love them unconditionally...as long as they meet your condition? No , you have me confused with Jesus , I do not love people unconditionally.:D God does love you uncondditionally when Jesus stands in your place, Jesus is innocent.

Jndalee - Can you honestly say that not following a religion is respecting it? Yaani - If I were a Jew, and a Christian were trying to get me to convert to Christianity, I would not feel respected. If on the other hand I were a Jew and Christian mother invited my children to play with her children I would feel respected, trusted, honored, supported in my religious choice...

good morning yanni, Thank you for proving my point....If you notice, the "scripture you said I inject".... is from God's Word... God's Word is God's Word, so whether I inject it as it's written or if someone else "injects" it...It is still God's Word... Then I find this interesting... I won't mention what you PM'd me about, but I'm sure you remember...but this line you write: yanni...

You're saying yes, you love them unconditionally, as Jesus exhorts, as long as they meet your condition?

All good for the soul. Jesus taught us of the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. All that lead us to actions that show how we understand this is Godly. The Urantia Book the fifth epocal revelation is a fascinating study.
