Do you believe all opinions are valid?
I believe that all opinions are valid if the individual believes in the opinion. I also believe that all facts are opinions based on personal conclusions throughout ones life. Depending on how much faith an individual has in a fact is the key factor in deciding ones own personal reality. For example, if i believe GOD does exist based on ...
based on the definition of valid, no they're not all valid. although valid for you, in general it's not valid.
i'd also love to hear these "personal experiences" so please share them with me so i can laugh at you and show you how insane you sound.
Opinions are valid to desperate people who have screwed up in life. For them life is nothing more and is not going to get better. So... other peoples opinions will only screw them more. So for you people that are screwed.... you are me he hessed!

If you understand the basics of a philosophical debate, then you would understand that ones perceptions of an opinion entails the conclusion. And when i said " personal experiences ...

Opinions are like as s holes, everyone has one.
Seriously though, yes opinions are always valid.
However the way they are presented and put across is the part that sometimes is not.
It's all very subjective though.
What one person would consider a valid opinion the next person wouldn't and would find a million ways to tear it down and criticise it.
So it's easier to say, all ...

if you look at what he says, he looks like a fool. things can exist wether you believe they do or not. for instance, he has never been to Hawaii.. so his argument is that Hawaii does not exist.. (hahahaha) i have never been to hawaii, but i believe it exist. neither one of us has been there, but one is right and one is wrong. there is only one reality. i feel sorry for the door more than him..lol
your petty name calling is retarded, lol. anyway, i never said i believed my statement, it's just a possible idea. if you leave your phone in the bathroom then go to another room, you cannot be sure it is still there no matter how high the probability it is that it's still there. the probability and possibility is what matters. now you can gracefully undo your checkmate

Quote: Are all opinions valid Well at least it's not a religious debate. And this debate depends on the sense you are talking about. As a human being you are entitled to your opinion. Always. That however does not mean that your opinion is the right opinion and here in lies the application of validity. Two people can look at one object and one person can call it something completely different. His opinion is valid in the fact he is...
I think that if you really believed that all opinions are valid then you would not have began this thread. The fact that you started it and disagree with certain opinions betrays your true underlying belief. Here is one example from your post#20 found on pg. 2 of this thread : "You cannot prove to me we all see the same colors. It is illogical to say that this supposed valid fact is not debatable..." Who cares about what can...
