While the title is a bit silly, the content of the post is quite good and provides a nice summary of some of the issues that we've caused ourselves by becoming entangled in foreign affairs. One thing that I think is understated a bit in the post is the role of religious zealots in all of this.  The motivations for the people that did these things don't make any sense when viewed in a purely political light - it's only when...

I thought it was Operation Northwoods? Way off.       No he's right but Northwoods never happened! Northwoods was an operation that an airliner would be shot down and said to have been full of students, tourists, etc.

While much of what you quote is true, the question remains:  Why blame America first?  Many mistakes are made in foreign policy (one of the many reasons Washington warned against foreign 'entanglements'), all countries tend to make them if they have any power at all.  One part I must disagree with is: The Sudanese govt has since providedvaluable intelligence on Al-Qaeda terrorist activities since they were one ofthe birth places...
