To cut a long story short, I'm trying at present to get Talk Talk to arrange for a BT Openreach engineer to come out and replace an old RF2 filter for the upgraded RF3 filter. Openreach engineers replace these as standard whenever they encounter them as they are a known cause of ASDL problems. I'm not with Talk Talk but I did have several OR engineers to my property through Plusnet. I believe that base callout charge is about £125 and it can go up from there. Just make sure you've done the normal sequence of tests to eliminate your equipment and internal wiring as the cause of your poor broadband: Plug directly into the test socket at the point where the cable enters the ...
