Thread: Opening iTunes using the F8/Play+pause key?

Hi, I wanted to know if I could use the F8 key (but not actually fn-F8, just a regular click that normally is the play/pause media key) to open iTunes, when it isn't open of course (because then I would want that to play and pause iTunes), and how I could. I don't want to have to use the function, command, option, or control keys in conjunction with the key if I don't have to, but I...

This is possible, it comes as standard on Mac OS X Snow Leopard I think, it's beginning to annoy me! Macbook 13" Aluminium Unibody Mac OS X (10.6)...

F8 is also for activating Spaces. I don't understand how Apple could assign two different functions to same key. Intel iMac Mac OS X (10.6.1)...
