Thread: Opening Day Observations

-Boston should be the top team in the NBA this season. The only thing that could hold them back is Rasheed's ignorance. Dallas is still a pretender...at least they were tonight. The Wizards? Really? -I hate the Spurs. Random, I know. -The Clippers are playing even with the Lakers in the 3rd quarter. That's a damn shame. I know they won those awesome rings tonight, but ...

And how is it Washington has the ...

Boston will be the top team, and I'm not sure anything of Wallace will hold them back considering he will now have a more limited role (even more-so once Davis returns). Does anyone like the Spurs?

They're not even that. If the plan is to stand around and watch Dirk shoot jumpers (and last night he was mostly missing), then they can fire Carlisle already and save me the trouble of trying to figure out what crazy system they're running. Actually, they should be running a lot more with Marion on the team (although he looked like he's slowed down a LOT). _________________ I'll ...

Lakers???? Dallas???? LOL @ the fans for leaving early! Kenny Smith is an idiot for suggesting that this team didn't have weaknesses. They have plenty, starting at the point. Oh, and having Pau out there instead of the Odom/Bynum combo would help. That said, I'm not looking forward to the Hawks playing out there on Sunday.

Coach O'Brien peers down his bench. Spies rookie AJ Price looking at him, hoping, desperately for a chance to get in. O'Brien yells "PRICE!" AJ jumps up, Coach tells him "Bring in the sweats when the game is over and turn off the lights in the gym. Thanks." _________________ Kindness should never be random.
